pack your bags, summer camp is right around the corner!
check out the logistics page for these details
yes, yes, and yes. let us know if you're bringing any of the above so that we can plan appropriately for things to do/eat/etc.
yes! with caveats! you're welcome to come stay with us if you are planning on joining for the whole/most of the weekend. if you plan to spend a lot of time away from the party doing your own thing, then you should probably stay somewhere else (airbnb, other friend's place) so that the folks who want to 'do camp' are able to be on-site.
sure! just won't be a big activity filled weekend necessarily. just let us know when you want to come visit (we recommend summer). the same applies to you if you think this sounds cool except the idea of meeting other people who aren't us :)
most likely, yes! though we probably won't necessarily be off work and can't guarantee 100% we can host you. if you would like to stay after summer camp, we may say "we love you but we need some alone time" because we like to recharge after stuff like this.
get in touch with us (the earlier the better) about what you're thinking and we can probably make something happen.
we're inviting people we like best from various stages of our lives, so it might be an eclectic crew. if you want to know who's signed up, let us know and we'll give you a run down of who is planning on coming on which weekend to help you decide.
however much it costs you to get your butt to seattle and then to our house is going to be the main cost. you might end up buying groceries or booze or other fun things to share with other campers, but that's at your own discretion. if at the end of all of it you feel like you have money burning a hole in your pocket, we sure would be glad if you put that to a worthy cause, such as helping folks experiencing war and displacement or hunger.
oh so you want like a mission/vision statement? fine:
mission: to create and nurture an expansive community, and share in the joy and beauty of the grove, making good use of this space that we’ve been blessed with
vision: over the course of long weekends, friends, family, and friends-not-yet-met will find pleasure, meaning, and community together—and the impact of this time and community will extend beyond the weekend into the rest of our lives
presumably you're friends with either aliza or g... so just get in touch with us and ask lol
